These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern the relationship between you (“User”) and WEDA Events when accessing or using our website wedaevents.com and/or our mobile/PWA application (app.wedaevents.com) (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these T&C and all policies referenced herein (including our Privacy & Cookie Policy).
Article 1 – General scope and acceptance
By browsing, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you expressly accept these T&C without reserve. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You represent that you have reached the legal age of majority in your country, state, or province of residence. If you are under the legal age, you must have valid consent from your legal guardian. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not use the Services.
You must not use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
WEDA Events may modify these T&C at any time, with immediate effect upon posting on the website/app. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated T&C.
Article 2 – Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content available on the Services (including but not limited to text, UI, design, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, code and databases) is owned by or licensed to WEDA Events and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access the content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or make derivative works from the Services or any content therein, unless expressly permitted in writing by WEDA Events.
“WEDA”, “WEDA Events”, the logo, and associated visual identity are protected marks. You may not use our marks without prior written consent.
Article 3 – Memberships, Payments & External Checkout
All memberships and Premium plan payments are processed exclusively on our main website wedaevents.com using the secure WooCommerce checkout integrated with Netopia Payments.
No payment or subscription is processed directly within the WEDA mobile or PWA applications. The apps serve solely as client interfaces allowing users to log into their existing WEDA accounts and access features according to their active membership plan.
All transactions are handled securely by Netopia Payments, a licensed payment processor compliant with PSD2 and PCI-DSS regulations. WEDA GLOBAL DEV SRL does not collect, store, or have access to payment card details. Applicable prices, billing periods, and taxes are displayed clearly on the website before completing the purchase.
Article 4 – Registration & Account
Some sections require account registration. Accounts are single-user; do not share credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and any activity under your account.
WEDA Events uses token-based (JWT) authentication. Unauthenticated access may be available for certain public content.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these T&C or suspected misuse. If you believe your account is compromised, contact us at contact@wedaevents.com.
Third-party authentication
Where supported, you may sign in via third-party identity providers (e.g., Sign in with Apple/Google/Facebook). Your use of third-party sign-in is governed by their terms and privacy policies. You control what data you share from those services.
Article 5 – Platform Nature & Events Aggregation
WEDA Events is a platform and content aggregator for dance events, venues, artists, coupons and related information. Unless explicitly stated, WEDA Events is not the organizer, seller, or promoter of third-party events or offers. Event details, schedules, prices, availability, and changes are provided by third-party organizers/partners and may change without notice. You should verify details directly with the organizer before relying on them.
Ticket purchases or redemptions made via external links are contracts between you and the respective seller/organizer. Any refund, cancellation, access, or entry issues are handled by that third-party according to their terms.
Article 6 – User Generated Content (UGC) & Moderation
If you submit, upload, or post content (e.g., profile picture, comments, reviews), you represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or laws.
You grant WEDA Events a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt and distribute such content solely to operate and improve the Services.
Prohibited content includes unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, pornographic, hateful, or discriminatory material; malware; spam; or impersonation. WEDA Events may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
Article 7 – Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to hack, probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass security of the Services.
- Do not scrape, harvest, or bulk export data except as permitted by our APIs (if any) and applicable law.
- Do not use the Services to engage in fraud, spam, or unlawful conduct.
Article 8 – Third-party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. WEDA Events does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk. Please review those third-party terms and privacy policies.
Article 9 – Disclaimers
The Services and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”. WEDA Events does not warrant that: (i) the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (ii) any content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or free of defects; (iii) any errors will be corrected.
You acknowledge that event participation involves inherent risks (including travel, physical activity). WEDA Events is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, or losses arising from attendance at third-party events.
Article 10 – Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WEDA Events (and its directors, employees, contractors, and partners) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Article 11 – Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WEDA Events from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these T&C or misuse of the Services.
Article 12 – Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for any reason, including suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these T&C. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law).
Article 13 – Governing Law & Venue
These T&C are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania. If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 14 – Cancellation & Refunds
Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; access remains available until expiration. Unless required by applicable law, current billing periods are non-refundable.

For tickets, vouchers, or offers fulfilled by third-party organizers or venues, refund/cancellation terms are set by those third parties.
Article 15 – Privacy & Cookies
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal data and how we use cookies and similar technologies within WEDA Events.
Article 16 – Service Changes & Availability
We may add, remove, or modify features; run tests or beta features; or perform maintenance without prior notice. We do not guarantee availability on all devices, OS versions, or browsers.
Article 17 – Severability, Assignment, Entire Agreement
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these T&C without our prior written consent. These T&C, together with referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and WEDA Events regarding the Services.

Applicable law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Pre-contractual information for distance services (OUG 34/2014)
Before any paid subscription, in-app purchase or other distance contract becomes binding, we provide, in a clear and comprehensible manner:
- the main characteristics of the digital service/content;
- the total price (including applicable taxes/fees) and, where recurring, the billing period and renewal rules;
- the identity and contact details of the professional (WEDA GLOBAL DEV SRL);
- the payment, delivery/execution, and performance terms;
- the complaint handling and after-sales support procedures;
- the right of withdrawal and how to exercise it, including the model withdrawal form (where applicable);
- the duration of the contract and the conditions for termination.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, unless an exception applies under OUG 34/2014. For digital content or digital services that are not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal does not apply once execution has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Purchases made via Apple App Store / Google Play are governed by those stores’ terms and refund policies; withdrawal requests must be addressed directly to the respective store.
Intermediation & third-party events
Unless expressly stated otherwise, WEDA is not the organizer, seller or promoter of third-party events or offers. If you purchase tickets/benefits via external links, the contract is concluded with the third-party organizer/seller, whose terms and withdrawal/refund rules apply.
Complaints & consumer protection
You can contact us at contact@wedaevents.com for support or complaints. Consumers in Romania may also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC). EU consumers can use the ODR platform referenced above.
Privacy & cookies
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy (GDPR / ePrivacy). Security measures include encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted access and separation of the outsourced WordPress database.
